So far I'm struggling with this book. Not because the survivors stories aren't compelling, but because there's no diversity between the stories. All of the survivors circumstances were very similar in ways, such as coming from loving home where abuse or dysfunction were practically unheard of. I want to like this book, but the narrative Weiss has created makes it hard.
