Smart Remarks: Make some honest comments about the subject, characters, actions, events or connections the text suggests. These might be criticisms or “compliments” of the writer or the behavior of the characters or the style of writing. Do your remarks reveal something that you might discuss further? Why are you bothered, satisfied or mod by what you've read?
I've just started reading, "Lucy in the Sky" by Anonymous. I believe this book is great. The way is written is so unique. It's not written the way most books are written. There are no commas or periods or semicolon. It looks like how any other person or teenager would write it. I also like the fact that it is a journal, which is in first person, rather then being in third person. I feel like I get better grasp on how the reader is feeling when it's in first person. I really like the way it's written and I love the plot. I love how the main character begins as a bad girl to just trying new things out. I love seeing the transition and all her thoughts while all of her new experience is happening. It gives me a whole new perspective.
