Thank goodness it picked up in Chapter 10. I was beginning to think it would be the first JQ book I couldn't finish.

Six chapters done...and I still don't really care about these characters. Can we read about Hugh now? Or the little Pleinsworth cousins? Their antics would be more compelling than the build up to their governess' romance.

I generally love JQ, but this is a letdown so far.
