Crawling forward. It seems to be picking up again, so I guess I'd call the middle part really boring, sandwiched between two good bits.

It was really damn good at first, but the second third slowed down the pacing to a grinding standstill and started too many romance plots simultaneously. Now it's almost exclusively about sex and magic sex mushrooms and its *so* boring.
Hoping it'll pick back up for the last 100 pages.
