Suspense is a state or condition of mental uncertainty or excitement, as in awaiting a decision or outcome, usually accompanied by a degree or apprehension or anxiety. One example is when the boat sinks about halfway through the book. Suspense builds up when they lose most of their weapons and then they hear noises in the woods, but by then it skips to the next chapter. Another example is when Silver is not helped up

When the boy's father dies, he basically looks for a father figure to look up to. This dying sailor that came into the Admiral Benbow was this father figure. So, before the sailor had died he told the boy about how he needs to find and protect his treasure. The boy then promises that he will protect it with all of his life. Of course, this is after the boy finds the treasure.

I would say that the theme of my book is don't be greedy and share your wealth with everyone. One example is in the beginning of my book. Before the old sailor is about to die he tells the little boy about his amazing treasure, showing that he wanted to share it. Another example is when the boy finds the treasure and he decides to share the wealth with mainly everyone who helped him.

My book is told from the 1st person point of view. A sentence from the book is; I applied to him for my wage, he would only blow through his nose at me, and stare me down. This POV affects the plot because if it was told from a different point of view you would most likely know more information. Since it's not told in another POV you don't know as many details and information about what is going on.
