I swear the professor for this class was just drunk emailing me. He sent one that said, "In fact, it be cited in the memo (at pages 496-498, or 16-17 in the download," which makes no sense even if you ignore the never-ending parenthesis. Then he sent another that said, "Duhhhh."

"Respondent was also advised that . . . if he applied for a job requiring a security clearance, the [CIA] would inform the prospective employer that it had concluded that respondent's homosexuality presented a security threat." Webster v. Doe John McCain has threatened to filibuster the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. You can call him here: (202) 224-2235.

Fun fact: the professor for this class has now taken to saying "grok" at least once in every class.

Steve 984 pages! I have a Nutshell, and that's as far as I'll go. Good luck!

Trice lol
maybe he overdosed on law reading? such things are known to send one over the deep end on occasion. With all that Rule of Law stuff, who wants to deal with the rules of grammar and punctuation?

Cari Foulk Ok...lmao, literally.
He's definitely impaired.

Don't drink and email! Do you know there's an iphone app to forestall drunk-dialing? I'm not sure how it works, but I imagine it to be like the cat-typing detection program I have - "You appear to be a cat. Please type the following word" turned into "You appear to be blatto. You cannot call your ex-girlfriend."

Meredith Holley I think maybe he needs the app. I really like this professor, but he's definitely crazy. He's gotta be like 70 years old and looks like the Mad Hatter. I agreed to do this research project for him, and I knew it would be a little bit of a nightmare, but, well, I was right.
