on the chapter about the jews (which should really be about ashkenazi jews) and i'm struggling a bit with how lavin is presenting us as a united front in the antiracism movement, which is partially true- jews were definitely in the coalition, but to me its not a great thing that the naacp was led by a white jewish man- but its not the whole story.
