Notes:
(1) Two days in, and how have I only read 44 pages? I guess it does make sense, since I'd rather do ANYTHING else than read this.
(2) Drumming up motivation to read this book is like rolling a boulder up the side of a slippery hill.
(3) Why does all the dialogue in this book sound like beatnik poetry? This freeform hippie prose is a drag, man, it's a king-sized drag!

Notes:
(1) So far, this book's surprised me. It's only been regular two-star bad, rather than the painful one-star bad I expected. There is the Joker's Daughter origin issue upcoming, which I've read before, and it's the worst single issue comic I've ever read.
(2) I wonder if editorial, at this point, paid closer scrutiny to Nocenti. The dialogue's... comparably tolerable.

Notes:
(1) The last volume messed me up pretty bad. It's taken me five days to right myself and muster enough strength to begin this. Why? Because reading Ann Nocenti is like drinking spoiled milk. It's not a question of whether you'll get ill, but how ill you will get.
(2) Even though I'm one issue in, I'm going to have to reread it later to, if possible, make sense of it.

Like Terry's work, also enjoyed Jim Balent's Catwoman work.

Lightle drew the Legion, The Flash and tons of covers for DC and also did work at Marvel. Steve was to the Legion what George Perez was to the Teen Titans. One of my favorite artists.

Glad to see I'm not alone in this. Lol. Some books are like that and kick in after a while. I can only hope this gets really good sometime soon. Generally speaking, I'm a spree-reader, and I'll read very little, and then lot, and then very little, etc., depending on my mood.
