End of the second chapter! What do you think so far?

This book is very entertaining. Don't you like how the author makes the Thranx human-like but there are some distinct differences (besides their appearance). Pride for example! I mean, damn, don't you think Ryo gave up more easily than a human would when he was confronted by all those people from his hive telling him not to go to Hivehom?

I do love his Thranx perspective. I've seen so many stories about first contact from our point of view, it's refreshing to see ourselves from afar. I also love how they're portrayed as complimentary to us, that comes out a lot in the other books. And he definitely gave up more easily than a human would. You'll like the Thranx-human interactions towards the end of the book. :) Don't want to spoil it too much though!
