I am finding this really hard work. I should have known that a book of nearly 600 pages wasn't going to be very fast paced. At times there are some little gems hidden in the story but they are few and far between. The book is written as though he is sat telling the tale. It doesn't always seem to make sense and I find myself having to read the passages again to get what he is actually on about.
