Ty has won the High School National Finals Rodeo and is going to college in Odessa, Texas. He is competing at the collegiate level and he has finally got his PRCA card. After he gets his PRCA card he wins Rookie of the Year. That following year he wins the All-Around at both the collegiate level and pro level. Later on, he will go and win both the bull riding and All-Around at the pro level.

Ty has just won his 7th All-Around World title and he has broken Larry Mahan's record of 6 All-Around titles. Ty, Cody, Tuff, and others have started a Professional Bull Riding circuit. Ty is on the board and they have gotten a pretty good fan base by streaming it on tv and tour all over the country. Finally, Ty decides to retire from bull riding, but he is still on the board of the PBR.

Ty has been out for three rodeoing seasons due to injuries. He has surgery on both knees, his elbow, his shoulder. So, he has been in and out of rehab for the past three years.
