Book club selection I would not have read. It’s mildly interesting but cliché. The gist is a “wild child” appears “magically”in a town in the Pacific Northwest who doesn’t speak (grunts) , prefers to walk on all-fours and becomes the raisin d’être for a psychologist who’s returned home from L.A. in disgrace. Lots of piercing blue or green eyes here and oddball small town folk; not my cup of tea.
