Michael Apted died on January 7, 2021. He was a film director and I think he'll be best remembered for his "Up" series. In 1964, he filmed a group of 7 year old children for a series on British TV. The series became an ongoing project. Every seven years, Apted filmed the children into their adulthood. The last installment was 63 Up in 2019.
It's probably my favorite documentary series. Thank you, Michael Apted.

That would be most fitting if that happened Paul. Hopefully there is some sort of tribute in the works. It is well deserved. Please let me know if you hear anything.
I posted a link to a NY Times article in message 1, but evidently you have to be a Times subscriber to read it.The gist of the article is that Apted's lead producer may carry on and do a final episode if the crew (she and several others are 70-ish) are up to it and if the subjects assent - two who were interviewed would seem to be on board. Age and health seem to be the biggest questions.
Let's hope that it happens.
