Out of interest's sake (in the interest of science) who removed the row of nekkid glories from it's glaring display on my screen? Nathan or the mods?

While it was still up, in a moment of rebelliousness against US hysteria about kids seeing images of nudity, I called my kids (boy of 11, girl of 9) (in the interests of science), to view the pic.
The girl's eyes did stretch to twice their normal size, and the boy acquired a silly grin.

After staring their fill and making a few comments, I asked them if they felt degraded, morally corrupt and/or if they were going to have nightmares henceforth. After laughing at me as if I was a bit nuts, they serenely carried on with their pre-nekkid man activities.

Question being: who is it that has to be shielded? Not teh children, who need to learn about anatomy anyway. I suspect perhaps more older conservative ladies and gents of my mother or grandmother's vintage, though I do remember both my grandma's as being sensible creatures, who would probably not have blinked an eye.

Btw! My kids have discovered the existence of homosexuality, which I had tried to explain as neutrally as possible. But you know school kids. They talk about things amongst themselves and... This weekend we watched a show in which a guy was named Les (Leslie), and my son just couldn't get over this...he burst into giggles every time poor Les's name was mentioned. *eyeroll* Hoo boy. The joys of raising children.

Through most of the '90's and almost certainly well into the '00's, the first four albums by Cannibal Corpse were BAN'd in Germany. Neither could they be sold, nor the songs perform'd live (did they have a watch-dog at concerts for the latter?) Apparently the lyrical content was too violent -- like you could understand the words, or even be concerned about Zombies slaughtering folks. So, today, in memory of BAHN'd books week, here's ::
