not sure why everyone raves about this. it's pretty dull.

Jesus, it's like you read my mind. I completely agree. I'm reading it b/c it's my book club selection this month. 75 pages in and it's moving waaaaaaaay too slowly for me. Movie is only $3 to rent on Amazon, so I may just end up watching that instead.
i had a hunch. it's been a while, but wanted to save you the time and trouble if i remembered it correctly. sounds like i do.
