I never would have picked this up myself but my husband (J) and I are doing a little reading challenge this year: every month, we get to pick a book for the other to read. J and I have incredibly different reading tastes (outside of comics where we overlap a lot more), so I think this will really challenge us to read outside our comfort zones. :)

that’s such a cool and lovely idea! i hope you two end up enjoying each other’s books. it must be nice being married to another book lover.

J is actually more of a lapsed book lover (was an avid reader when he was younger but hasn't done it with any consistency in years) but I think he's eager to getting back in the habit. :)
