I'm Got really bogged down in the Waterloo section and lost all momentum, not a big fan of warfare. But thank God I'm on the other side now and off and racing with JVJ and Cosette across Paris with Javert hot on their heels. Good fun!

I'm finished with Fantine and the all too brief M. Madeleine, and am stuck in the middle of the boring Battle of Waterloo blah blah blah.

Only read a bit of this, very tired with sick kids, no time for reading. Just a guess at the page number as Kindle isn't giving me page numbers.

The Kindle version unfortumately does not have page numbers so I'm sort og guessing because I don't actually have any idea! I'm very much enjoying it though and am pleasantly surprised by the Kindle reading experience.

Am reading this on my brand new first ever Kindle! It's kind of a strange process, I miss the tactile nature of a real book, but in this case it's certainly an advantage to avoid the bulk! I also love having the dictionary attached - I'm reading the original French and have a French dictionary installed. I love it!
