I'm about 1/3 through and considering DNFing because the female protagonist does and says so many goddamn stupid and cringy things that I just...don't think I can stomach this for the rest of the series.

Also the Male mc is immediately coming onto her right after meeting her. The last time he saw her, she was a child. I see no reason whatsoever why be immediately singles her out in the crowd and immediately wants her. He's not portrayed as a lecherous horndog or anything, we are simply supposed to believe that he is immediately into her despite her showing no personality at all. :/
Also everytime they're around each other, the female MC makes a point to inform the reader that her nipples become hard (out of arousal, apparently 🙄. Even tho that's not how that works, but whatever). That detail was weird the first time it happened. Now it's just irritating af
This is why I don't read romance. Most of it is terrible.
