I liked the first volume of this, but the second is pulling on my mind and soul. The story evokes pure emotion by putting characters that feel true in situations that are unfortunately even moreso, and the art by Ponticelli and Masioni evokes even more emotions through facial and body acting and just the right attention to detail in backgrounds and foregrounds. Unreal. Now I just need to read the essay in the back.
