Marcus’ story has finally picked up. I also cannot believe that we now get sex scenes for Phoebe and Marcus but barely had a hint at them for Matthew and Diana in the first books! Not like they’re the main characters or anything!

God I really hope Marcus’ whole story is a history lesson on the colonial intervention in the war of independence because I’m tired of history lessons in these damn books

Sigh... I just checked and this is actually my fifth vampire book of the year. I’m not as proud now.
