Pretty interesting stuff so far. Very dense, for an education book. I like his ideas about how there are two types of learning: informal and formal. The difference between these two is that one is easily absorbed but shallow, while the other is difficult to learn but has bottomless depths of information. It is the educator's key dilemma to determine what the best balance of use there is.
