The plot with the ghost in this story is expertly woven into the tale, I really enjoy it when he suddenly intervenes in events. But for goodness sake Simon let someone HELP YOU you poor lamb!

Fascinating. So many great ideas and such direct, realistic dialogue. I love how no-nonsense everyone is in this story, these kids are just itching to act on their impulses which is so refreshing to read.

So glad I started this book this morning, just the thing to lift me out of stressful life at the moment! The story has a very distinctive narrative style that I've gotten used to quite quickly - it's a fresh change to be inside a head as quick-thinking and combative as Simon's. The whole concept is fascinating so far and I'm getting a good imagination going for the characters and surroundings. A great start!
