So far, this book has left me deeply angry that protections for the patients in this hospital failed so completely. From the federal government down to the hospital itself, a lack of planning, preparation, maintenance/upgrades, and leadership left the people trapped in Memorial after the storm scrambling to cope and led to some tragic and unnecessary decisions.
