Chapter 7. Okay, so here's the thing. I remember this being a pretty cool movie 25 years ago. Also I got the book for .50 at a local shop about 9 months ago and there's nothing else to read in my house but I'm on quarantine. The book is slow so far, mostly because of characters who lack depth. I get the impression the author wanted to show how much he knew about submarines -not human beings. Dull.

It's one of the few times I've said the movie was better than the book.
