This was my favorite book as a child. I have struggled for years to remember the title and it came to me last week. I finally found a rare copy and I'm halfway through. Trying to figure out why this book resonated with me so much as a child. I think I knew there was a bigger world out there than the city walls I was surrounded by - a peek into my childhood self.
