I'm really exciting to see how Ruby interacts with kids at her new school. She has a new changed life she has to get used to, and I wonder how her mother left her. She is trying to escape her new "world" to go back to the old house she used to live in. I think Ruby doesn't believe her mother left, and will wait for her.
