I've had people suggest or ask why I don't do more crocheting or knitting for commission, and my response has been "Because then it's work." But I will occasionally do something for some barter with a friend if it's a project I'll enjoy working on. Boom. Intrinsic motivation vs extrinsic. This seems very clear and logical to me so far.
