Okay, that slap from Shallum -- I felt that. I feel so bad about Othniel. The men in this era really were annoying. I love Nehemiah and Shallum for the support they show Adah. That quote on page 165 about her guilt in not helping...oh my! That's a topic for discussion and a whole sermon.
