You know it's bad that I didn't guess who the killer was only because I thought there was no way she would use such a blatantly obvious "twist".

What? WHAT? That doesn't make any sense unless everyone in the house had the IQ of a rock!

Oh, so the bipolar girl wasn't the killer, she just aided and abetted the killer. That's so much better. *eyeroll*

What? What? This makes literally no sense at all. If you can't find a reason he could be the murderer, why did you suddenly decide he was the murderer and shoot him? God, this book is an utter mess.

This is the most absurdly implausible book I think I've ever read. And I read books about magic and dragons!

Please tell me I'm not really supposed to believe the killer is someone the text has already said is dead. We're not really going there, are we? This is cheesy enough as it is.

This might be the worst book I've read all year. And guys, I've read Cassandra Clare this year. D:

Ugh. I'm so disgusted with how this book uses Minnie's bipolar disorder to make Minnie look horrible and make Meg look like a poor martyr who's such a good friend to someone terrible. It's gross.

She hitched the comfortable up over her head--sympathizing suddenly with Eskimos, mummies, and women in burkas--and quickened her pace. OMG really? I know this book wants to be progressive, with a black love interest, two whole Asian girls and a Samoan guy, but seriously, that sentence is just made of No.
