I read this book before. I sorta like the idea of microhistory, so I'm re-reading it not for the histories they narrate/cite, but for the methods. Basically, microhistory begins with a detail (event, document, myth) and extrapolates to the larger context. Kinda interesting. Worth exploring, IMHO.
