Terry Hans Nancy Panko has a way of introducing you to her characters that makes you feel a personal relationship with them. Betsy and her family capture your heart on the very first page of
Sheltering Angels. Nancy bases the story around true to life experiences and makes us fall in love with the Emig family. We share their joys and sorrows in this heartfelt tale. It is a remarkable story of hope, a loving family, and the angels that protect them.
Panko is a real artist in her ability to intertwine the lives of her characters and introduce us to their angels. Betsy has a relationship with her guardian angel, Sandy, since she has been born. Her parents think Sandy is their daughter’s imaginary friend but soon realize Sandy is real and they learn they all have angels protecting them. In some unexpected twist of tragedy and I highly recommend as a must on your reading list. The author has a flair for description and keeps you spellbound with and unexpected twist and turn of events. I would highly recommend this book. You won’t be disappointed.
