This is a part that I believe many people would describe as slow. 3 pages of describing the life cycles that happen in the Athasian dessert. I find it beautiful and thought provoking.


She had always somehow thought if the desert as an empty and desolate place, but it was far from that. It was full of life, though of a sort that had, of necessity, found ways to adapt to the inhospitable climate.
