I am not a fan of the way it switches from first person to third person, jumping in and out of the narrative within a single paragraph. This feels quite chaotic and brings me out of the fiction and feels unnecessary.

p9 Weldon's style is very distinct and hard to digest. It is quite wordy and so far sentences feel quite disjointed. This is quite polarising going in.
