The experiments they were doing on animals in the 19th century I find incredibly disturbing. This would now be considered the behavior of serial killers in the making.

Preston How is this one so far?


Erick Good so far. This is a three volume work combined in one book, so it’s long. I’ve finished volume one and started volume two. He quotes Schelling and Schopenhauer quite a bit. He regularly refers to all the idealists. He crammed in a lot of data. It’s thorough if not always apparently relevant.
