In Chapter 5, we meet a banshee. I had a moment of confusion with that, because I didn't quite understand the difference in the wraith (Bene, the MC) and a banshee. In the end, it seems like a wraith is immortal while the banshee is mortal or perhaps it was only dispatched by a specially blessed weapon.

I read slowly when I want to savor worldbuilding, and this book is dense with just that. I'm loving it. Wraiths, dragons, Fae, and elders, it's all tickling all my favorite things.
