Okay, so far. Not very intimadated by the fact that the leader's name is Big Brother. The story takes about 50 pages or so to really speed up. I also feel like there is a lot of irrelevant details, especially at the beginning. I'm also not a big fan of the fact that the main character, Winston is a 39 year old with an ulcer. Not exactly the hero the story needs, and definitely not someone you can root for.
