What a treasure this book is. The author's honesty is absolutely admirable and her struggle with guilt and anxiety about the past is quite harrowing. She writes well and really challenged my perceptions around poverty and also self inflicted determinism. I'm sure I'll read this again (rare for me) and will follow her career with interest. Highly recommend.
