A cautionary tale about moving to a town that in many respects, mirrors Petersfield. What Lolita does - in a similar way to American beauty - is evoke the sheer velocity of the human spirit but sugar coated within a dynamic, sedulous, breathtaking style that is at once quaint and elaborate. Words mean nothing anymore to me or to Nabokov - if that is even his real name. Plus, why is David featured on cover?
