I've been seeing this book come and go on Goodreads for a good long time, too. No idea yet which direction a review would take, but that's not to say I'm not having a pleasant read. It's a surreal and obsessive atmosphere. The narrator comes across as a bit of a weirdo - to me. Anyhoo.
