Very tedious to read: too wordy, boring (boring, book 2). Book one was good through parts of it, but overly drawn out. Book two turns Clarence Abernathy into an unlikeable character, rehashes some things that book one went over, and drones on without getting anywhere. Over and over I’ve wanted to quit reading this trilogy, but I’m still hanging in there. Ollie Chandler collection should include him more.
