Ooof that hurtling chaos of a depressive breakdown is portrayed spot on. When you’re so vulnerable and desperate for someone - anyone to reach out to you, only so you can reject them, because you don’t deserve their help. And I am sitting on the edge of my seat reading, because ypu know that the tiniest wind can blow her either over the edge or to safety. Its the sort of writing which only comes from experience

The facts and history of Denmark's colonisation of Greenland is criminally unspoken in schools and public debate, leading to the sort of ignorant, hurtful and Otherizing comments that the protagonist has to deal with studying in Denmark.
