DNF at 79%. Let's be clear. The last time I didn't finish a book, I was probably in the third grade. And that book haunted me until high school, when I dug it up and finished the whole thing. But I won't read something repeatedly graphic, because I have more conservative views and I'm uncomfortable with it. Skin had potential, but I won't keep reading it. That's my personal choice. I think I know enough to call it.

Feeling the one star. I skipped basically that entire chapter. TWO WEEKS, GUYS. TWO WEEKS. If the book goes back, I'm DNF-ing. That's it.

The biggest conundrum here is WHY doesn't she just put on concealer?? She said something about acne, but acne is a whole lot better than getting random tattoos to cover up your white spots...

Well, I basically hate Sep. And Joshua is coming on WAY too strong. The narration is stilted and awkward. But for some reason, the story keeps me engaged. The disease is such an original thing to focus on and I really enjoy the plot itself. Just not...everything else.

I can't wait to start this! Here's to hoping that my second-ever Netgalley read will be as good as (or better) than Thin Space.
