For some reason I had in my head that I didn't care for Alice Hoffman's style of writing...can't exactly remember why now? I had in mind that she was slightly boring and maybe a little corny even? But for the life of me, I can't remember which book of hers I would have gotten that idea. The Dove Keepers has gotten such great reviews...I will give it a try and hopefully erase my preconceived notion.
