The plot progression is a bit confusing, but there are definitely answers being given - just plenty more questions popping up. I find David incredibly realistic as a teenager, moreso than most YA protagonists.

This book has more cute romantic subplot than the first. Uniquely? It isn't the protagonist who gets the girl.

So far, so good - it's just as culturally in-depth as the first installment of the series.
