The cat mummy wasn't one of my favorite reads as it was very short.
It's about a girl called Verity but her cat Mabel dies so she decides to mummify her as she had just learnt about the Egyptians.
I was one of the shortest books I ever read but I think it is for 7-8 year olds not for 9 year olds like me.
