I'm struggling with some of Griffins writing. Her sentences can get incredibly long and over descriptive making the reading hard going and slightly dull! Check out the last sentence on page 239 (it carries on to page 240). It has 120 words in that one sentence. I'm all for convoluted, in-depth writing but this takes it a bit far...
