Of all the tweener saga's I've read The Mortal Instruments is the best by far. For one I don't hate the main characters. Even if Jace and Clarie are hot heads. The story flows, there's enough action, and suspense to keep you reading through the inevitable lulls in the story. I'm almost done with the second book and I plan to pick up the third immediately.
