Nicks soccer dream didn't go so well, but he still wants to do it. I think Nick will keep trying.

“Books are fun, Nicholas, he says,

This quote resonates with me is because I think the opposite of this quote. So it's interesting that we have completely different opinions.

One of the secondary characters is Nick's father. His father wants him to do well, but can be very pushy sometimes. From the book, it sounds like his dad can be pushy.

I believe that Nick will start to think more about his parents divorce, and how hard it must be. I believe this is going to happen, because he was talking about how confusing being an adult must be.

An inference about the main character is that Nick can sometimes feel like he doesn't have a good life. In the text it states "I get bullied at school. I get bullied at home." (Kwame Alexander pg 140)
