I've only read Gone Girl, but it's definitely worth reading, especially if you want mystery, psychology, and twisted relationships like you mentioned in Sharp Objects. I'd love to find somebody that has read all three to compare them and tell me if it's worth reading Dark Places and Sharp Objects.

I personally prefer Dark Places over Gone Girl.

I've also only read GG, but I highly, HIGHLY recommend it.
