Started slow but I'm really into it now. Always interested to see who's going to do what next.

The writing isn't the best but I like the story. Took a while to really grow on the kidnappers, though. Have to wait and see, though, whether or not I'll bother with the next in the series. If Stevens and Windermere begin to develop an attraction, though, I'm almost guaranteed to opt out of book two.

For the first 87 pages, I haven't cared for it except for a brief scene between the protagonist and his wife. Then suddenly on page 88 something happens that really ramped up my interest level. The writing style isn't that great but it looks like the story may finally start to get interesting.
